"After its implementation thousands of IDF soldiers will remain in the West Bank and Gaza, and their sole mission will be to protect the settlements and the access roads leading to them. This will continue to perpetuate the occupation and the constant friction with the Palestinians," she said.
Aharon Tsur, head of the Gaza Coast Regional Council, said, "Separation is like giving a present to the Palestinians, encouraging them to continue the attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians."
