A public memorial service for Dr. Edith Loewenstein is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the main room of the Gateway Clubhouse at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek.
Arrangements for Loewenstein and Dr. Marvin Weinreb were handled by Sinai Memorial Chapel in Lafayette. Arrangements for Ellen Goldstein are by Colonial Chapel in Oakland.
Cala is survived by his wife, Robyn, and parents, Cookie and Bob, all of Foster City; and five brothers, Craig, Kenny, Rob, Michael J. and Greg.
Goldstein is survived by her children Ted of Yorba Linda, Harold (and Karen) of Santa Monica, Marcie (and Rick) Parisi of San Ramon and grandchildren Leanne and Amy Aleman. She was married for 45 years to the late Herbert Goldstein. She was also the sister of Jack (and Arlene) Garfinkle of Oakland and Gene (and Joan) Garfinkle of San Francisco. In addition, she is survived by sisters-in-law Ellen Klebanoff and Rosalie (and Jerry) Gayne, all of San Francisco, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family asks that contributions be made to the Jewish organization of your choice.
Loewenstein is survived by her three children, Anne Mollet (and Henry) in Monterey, Peter (and Helen) of Lafayette and Rudy (and Carol) of Irvine. She was the grandmother of Mark and Devin Loewenstein and Madeline, Allison and David Loewenstein, and the cousin of Martin Rothenberg.

Weinreb is survived by his wife, Ilene, of Oakland, and children Dr. Rachel Weinreb (and Richard Archibald) of Sacramento; Deborah Weinreb Jacobsen (and Thomas Jacobsen) of Corte Madera and Judith Weinreb of San Leandro. Grandchildren are Hannah and Abby Archibald, and Sara and Hilary Jacobsen. He is also survived by sister Anita Weinreb Katz and brother Joseph Weinreb.
