Koret funds available to synagogues

The initiative aims to provide resources, including staff, for new programs that increase member and non-member involvement in synagogue life.

One-third of the cost of such resources will be covered by the initiative, with the remaining amount to be funded by the synagogue and appropriate federation or other source.

The Koret Synagogue Initiative has worked with nine Bay Area synagogues so far.. Instructions and guidelines for synagogues can be obtained by calling the Koret Foundation at (415) 882-7740, or by visiting the Web site at http://www.koretfoundation.org.
