Local group fights Russian intolerance

A 1999 Anti-Defamation League survey showed 44 percent of Russians hold strongly anti-Semitic views. This year, the Russian government created a program entitled "Formation of Tolerant Attitudes and Prevention of Extremism in Russian Society," which calls for the involvement of government agencies to combat intolerance.
