The expectation is that consulates now operating in east Jerusalem will, in case of an agreement, become embassies for their respective countries in a new Palestinian state.

Only Costa Rica and El Salvador maintain embassies in Jerusalem, though experts expect a rush of embassy transfers to the capital if an agreement is signed.
