Leah Rabin battling lung cancer

Journalist Mike Wallace of the TV news show "60 Minutes," who was master of ceremonies at the awards dinner, reportedly announced that Rabin was returning to Israel to await results of her tests.

The Washington Post reported that Rabin's cancer is in an early stage, but an official in Washington said she is apparently "very sick."
