Israeli educator to be key speaker at school fund-raiser
by Rabbi Chaim Brovender will replace Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, who was scheduled to appear at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Scottish Rite Temple, Brovender, an educator who lives in Jerusalem, will speak at Oakland Hebrew Day School's annual fund-raiser.

During the event, the school plans to honor four community leaders: Diane and David J. Gould, Fran Tannenbaum Kaye and Brian Kaye.
The Scottish Rite is located at 1547 Lakeside Drive. Cost is $54. For information, call (510) 652-4324.
