Mount Zion names four new directors
by The board of directors of Mount Zion Health Fund, formerly known as Mount Zion Health Systems, has elected four new directors., Beginning three-year terms as of July 1 are Steven Kaufman, Dr. Robert T. Mendle, Sari Swig and Marilyn Waldman.

Mendle is medical director of the Skilled Nursing Unit at UCSF/Mount Zion, and is an elected representative on the hospital's medical board. He is in private practice in internal medicine.
Swig is a board member of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, for which she chaired Race for the Cure in 1997 and '98. She also is a board member of the community service fund of Congregation Emanu-El.
Waldman is past president of Mount Zion Hospital. Formerly director of employer services for Jewish Vocational Service, she presently is director of the National Foundation for Jewish Culture and the Jewish Museum San Francisco.
