Bulletin wins awards; editor is re-elected

Bulletin photographer Joyce Goldschmid received an honorable mention for her photography accompanying features on Paul Robeson and a congregation's gun-safety class.
The Rockower Awards were started in 1980 from an endowment established by I. Budd Rockower, a Philadelphia philanthropist, to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of his late father, Simon Rockower. The awards honor articles, features, cartoons and other types of Jewish journalism.

AJPA is comprised of nearly every Jewish newspaper and magazine in the United States and Canada. Klein also served as president of the group for four years in the early '90s.
