NYPD to review death of Deri friend
by NEW YORK (JPS) -- New York City police will review the circumstances in which a woman, who informally adopted Shas Party leader, Esther Werderber apparently died shortly after she decided to submit her account of her financial relations with the Deris.

New York police previously did not see her death as suspicious. But Tuesday, New York Police Commissioner Howard Safir said he will reopen the case.
