Beth Jacob screens four films
by Temple Beth Jacob will offer a four-series film festival beginning Monday with "Half the Kingdom," which tells of Jewish women w, "Bubbeh Lee and Me" will screen on June 14. In it, filmmaker Andy Abrahams Wilson presents a portrait of his Jewish grandmother.

"Breathing Lessons: The Life and Work of Mark O'Brien" won the 1996 Academy Award for best short documentary. It focuses on a poet-journalist who must live in an iron lung to survive polio.
Each film will be shown at 12:45 p.m. at they synagogue, 1550 Alameda de las Pulgas, Redwood City. Cost is $2 per film or $5 for the series. For information, call (650) 366-8481.
