Israeli filmmaker Eytan Fox will explore television and cinema in Israeli society at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28. He will show clips from his television series “Florentene,” which won first prize in the 1997 Jerusalem International Film Festival.
The last lecture, at 4:30 p.m. May 12, will feature Rhoda Helfman Kaufman, a Cal State Hayward professor, who will read and discuss excerpts from writings that reflect the experience of Jewish women authors in the 20th century.
