Religious diversity to be topic at MJCC conference
by Lama Surya Das, a highly ranked Tibetan Buddhist spiritual teacher, will join the Rev. Cecil Williams of San Francisco's Glide M, Rabbi Lavey Derby of Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon will act as facilitator during the conference titled "The Journey."

Humorist David Roche will present an excerpt from his one-man show, "The Church of 80% Sincerity." The Fairfax Community Church will offer a labyrinth -- a circular, spiraling pathway for meditation.
The conference will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 200 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael. Tickets are $50 to $65. For information, call (415) 479-2000.
