Buy Israeli in S.F. Formerly available only online, Omanoot’s lineup of Israeli fashion designers, jewelers, photographers and illustrators will be displayed in real time. At La Shuk Pop-Up Shop, visitors can view and purchase items, enjoy refreshments from Oakland Kosher Foods and listen to music from DJ Alarm. A three-hour tour of Rosh Hashanah. Get ready for the new year at the Rosh Hashanah Expo, sponsored by Chabad of Pacific Heights. The educational event will feature a honey tasting, a holiday cooking demo by kosher chef Isaac Bernstein, a shofar-making workshop and a synagogue tutorial for insight into holiday prayers and customs — everything you ever wanted to know about the holiday but were afraid to ask. 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at JCCSF, 3200 California St., S.F. $5-$15.
