G-dcast is getting ready to start Studio Pastrami, a series of discussions and community-building events to be held over four dinners in April.
Organizers say they will consider “creative 20-somethings … interested in the San Francisco food scene and strengthening their connection to the Jewish community.” However, only 12 spots are available.
The program will include a meal and discussions about food based on classic Jewish texts. Also, attendees will brainstorm future G-dcast video projects.
The series will run for four Mondays in April at Terroir, Wise Sons Deli and Local’s Corner and at Faultline Studios, all in San Francisco.
Funding comes from Impact Grants Initiative’s Young Funders Committee, a program of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation. There will also be a $40 cost. For information or to apply, visit www.g-dcast.com/pastrami.
