Lisa Alcalay Klug’s new book, “Hot Mamalah: The Ultimate Guide for Every Woman of the Tribe,” is a celebration of Jewish women — their strengths, challenges and triumphs. A companion to her earlier “Cool Jew,” the new collection includes humorous essays, illustrations, how-tos and more, covering such diverse subjects as “The Guilt Bank,” “Woulda Shoulda Prada” and “Mikveh: Foam Fatale.” The author will appear in Berkeley to talk about her book.
