Poetry awards

The Anna Davidson Rosenberg Awards celebrate poems on the Jewish experience — this year’s joint first-place winners, Lauren Camp and Yosefa Raz, will be honored at a reception at the Magnes Collection on September 23. Raz is a Jewish studies doctoral candidate at
U.C. Berkeley, and her winning poem is about “shal” (veiled) women. Camp, in addition to writing poetry, is an accomplished visual artist who produces and hosts a music and poetry program on Sante Fe Public Radio.
