Extremists allegedly want to attack Peres

Meshulam is the rabbi who led a siege of a building in the town of Yehud, protesting what he said was the government's kidnapping of Jewish Yemenite children.

His group is not registered in any formal fashion, so it apparently cannot be legally banned like other extremist groups such as Kahane Chai.

Six of Meshulam's followers, residents of the Petah Tikva area, were arrested Sunday in their homes, where police seized weapons and a small amount of drugs.
