Kahane was caught in the Kahane Chai offices with the seditious material, including one leaflet that called for the "bombing of Umm el-Fahm," a West Bank village. He did not deny that he was responsible for the material but said it was not seditious. The material was prepared for the 1992 elections.
Last year, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court acquitted Kahane, arguing that there must be a "high degree of probability" that public order would be disturbed for such a leaflet to be considered seditious.
Sentencing will be at a later date.
